Participate in Our Programs

Over the years, A More Excellent Way Health Improvement Organization in Vallejo, CA has held various events that help educate families about several health topics, including nutrition and breastfeeding. We also offer parent support and empowerment through virtual meetings.

Additionally, we conduct baby showers in an effort to address health disparities in perinatal outcomes of African-American women and infants. Feel free to sign up for any of our events. You may also volunteer and donate!

DRIVE-THRU HEALTH RESOURCE FAIR

The 19th annual Solano County African American Community Baby Shower is scheduled to occur on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 The health resource fair is a vital part of the intervention to connect families to essential services to improve their birth outcomes. If you consider your organization as a critical safety net for families, we hope you will participate.

The event will be outdoors at Refuge Community Fellowship Church 104 Lincoln Road in Vallejo, so you will need to bring a canopy, table, and chairs. More than ever, these families need our support and encouragement.
